How to delete your data

Last updated: April 2026

This page explains how to delete the data Verity processes on behalf of your account. For background on what we store and why, see our Product Privacy Policy.

1. Delete data from inside the product

The fastest way to remove your data is from within Verity itself. Disconnect a single data source 1. Open Verity and go to Settings. 2. Open the Data Sources tab. 3. Find the connection you want to remove (for example, your Facebook Ads account). 4. Click Disconnect, then confirm Delete data. This revokes the OAuth token, removes the cached metrics for that source, and purges any query history that references it. Delete your entire account 1. Open Verity and go to Settings. 2. Open the Account tab. 3. Scroll to Delete Account and confirm. This permanently removes your workspace, all connected integrations, all cached data, all query history, and all members.

2. What gets deleted, and when

• OAuth tokens for the disconnected source: revoked immediately • Cached metrics from that source: removed within 24 hours • Query history that references that source: purged within 24 hours • Audit logs that reference your account: anonymised or removed within 30 days • Encrypted backups: rotated out within 30 days After 30 days, only fully anonymised, aggregated statistics remain (e.g. "X queries ran against pack Y this month"), with no link back to your account.

3. Email request fallback

If you no longer have access to the product (for example, because your account was deleted by another Owner), you can still request deletion by email. Send an email to [email protected] with: • Subject: "Data deletion request" • The email address associated with your Verity account • The name of the workspace or account, if you remember it We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR Article 12.

4. Revoking Verity from Facebook directly

If you connected Facebook to Verity, you can also remove the Verity app from your Facebook account directly: 1. Open Facebook Settings → Business Integrations (or Settings → Apps and Websites on older accounts). 2. Find Verity in the list of connected apps. 3. Click Remove. Facebook will invalidate the OAuth token. Verity detects the revocation, deletes the associated tokens immediately, and purges the linked cached metrics and query history within 24 hours. If you also want your Verity workspace itself removed, follow step 1 (in-product deletion) or use the email fallback in step 3.
